Our 67th Card Party was simply a nice night: 23 players, five tables, a good potluck, and no major chaos. Phyllis and Richard Ashe joined us for the first time as Veronica’s guests. Jacob Wins Again Jacob Lyon finished with 42 points to win his second Card Party…

The evening brought together 11 people, including five players who had attended three card parties or fewer. Jack West was joining us for his first card party. As usual, we began with a warm-up hand. The ten players were then divided between two tables of five, with the…

Our 66th regulation card party was originally planned as an Independence Day Party, but it evolved into a summer BBQ with a patriotic red, white, and blue theme. Thirty-six people planned to attend, and despite one last-minute no-show, we still welcomed 35 players for an evening of food,…

Open House We expanded our guest list this year and invited several couples from Christ Our Savior. The open house was very well attended, with people socializing on both levels of the house—most of the DTS crew upstairs and most of the COS guests downstairs. Qdoba catered dinner,…

Our 62nd Card Party was one for the books — and the audit logs. The Halloween edition brought great costumes, creative food, and enough scoring errors to keep our accountants up all night. We caught and fixed four or five errors between rounds four and five, and then…
